One Conversation Can Change Everything

A partnership call with Veterans Landing at Pershing is a direct, focused conversation with initiative leadership — not a sales pitch, not a generic intake process. You'll speak with the people who are actively building this initiative and who are empowered to discuss real partnership structures, answer direct questions, and explore what genuine alignment looks like between your organization and ours.

Before the call, we'll send you a brief overview of the initiative so you can come prepared. We'll cover the current stage of development, the specific partnership opportunities available at this time, how your organization's capacity or mission aligns with what we need, and — honestly — whether the fit is right. We won't waste your time pushing a partnership that doesn't make sense. If there's alignment, we'll walk away with clear next steps. If there isn't, we'll say so respectfully and part ways with mutual respect.

Most calls run 30 to 45 minutes. We ask that you come with a general sense of what your organization does, what kinds of partnerships you've engaged in before, and what you're hoping to explore. Beyond that, no preparation is required. The conversation will take care of itself.

What to Expect on the Call

  • Direct conversation with Veterans Landing at Pershing initiative leadership
  • Tailored overview of partnership opportunities relevant to your organization
  • Honest discussion of alignment, fit, and realistic next steps
  • Clear action items if there is a mutual interest in moving forward
  • No pressure — just clarity on whether and how we can work together

Partnership Call FAQ

Who will be on the call from your team?
Partnership calls are conducted by Veterans Landing at Pershing initiative leadership — the people who are actively building this project and making decisions about how it grows. You will not be handed off to a junior team member or a generic intake coordinator. We take these conversations seriously and staff them accordingly.
How long does the call typically last?
Most partnership calls run between 30 and 45 minutes. We schedule 60-minute blocks to allow for organic conversation without pressure, but you should plan for roughly 30–45 minutes of substantive discussion. If a follow-up call is warranted, we will schedule it at the end of the first conversation.
What should I prepare before the call?
Minimal preparation is required. It helps to have a clear sense of: what your organization does and who it serves, what kinds of partnerships you have engaged in previously, and what specifically you are hoping to explore with Veterans Landing at Pershing. We will send you a brief initiative overview in advance of the call so you are not coming in cold.
What happens after the call?
If there is clear alignment after the call, we will propose specific next steps — which might include a follow-up call, a formal partnership proposal, or a meeting with additional stakeholders. If the fit is not right, we will say so clearly and, where possible, suggest alternative ways to support the mission that might be a better match. You will always leave the call knowing exactly where things stand.
Can I request a call on behalf of someone else?
Yes. If you are coordinating on behalf of a decision-maker at your organization, or facilitating a connection between Veterans Landing at Pershing and someone else in your network, you can request a call on their behalf. Just note this in the form and provide their contact details so we can reach out to confirm the appointment directly with them.
